These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts having jurisdiction at Indore, Madhya Pradesh shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms. Mandatory statutory remedies are preserved.

Precisely limited checks

StayJi Verification means only that StayJi or an authorized representative has completed the specific verification step stated on the listing at the relevant time. Verification does not certify ownership, title, legality, safety, quality, availability, pricing, facilities, financial reliability, or future condition.

Approval is not verification

An Approved publication status or a legacy boolean flag does not establish a physical visit or legal check. Where no scoped dated record exists, StayJi must not present a generic Verified badge. Unverified listings may remain usable if otherwise eligible for publication; users should perform independent due diligence.

Physical visits

Only a recorded physical visit may be labelled Property Visited. It confirms that a representative/authorized verifier visited the stated location at the recorded time and observed that the property appeared to exist then, within the documented scope. It is not legal, ownership, safety, quality, licensing, title, occupancy, financial, police, RERA, fire, municipal or regulatory certification. No visit is inferred from an approval or map pin.

Record and currency

A displayed check identifies its type, completed date, verifier role, limited scope and expiry/reverification date if specified. The public record excludes private staff identity, evidence and internal notes. Expired checks are labelled expired and must not appear as current. A check without an expiry is still a historical observation, not a permanent assurance. Material changes or credible complaints can require re-review.

Claims and corrections

No badge means 100% genuine, fraud-free, government verified, legally approved or safe. Owners must not reuse a badge outside its stated scope. Report an inaccurate label through the grievance process. StayJi may correct or withdraw a record with an audit trail; this does not decide private legal disputes.
