These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts having jurisdiction at Indore, Madhya Pradesh shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms. Mandatory statutory remedies are preserved.

Before you visit or pay

NEVER pay simply because a property appears on StayJi.

Listing availability on StayJi should not be treated as a substitute for physical inspection and independent verification.

Before visiting

Contact the owner, confirm current availability, exact address, appointment, rent, deposit and every additional charge. Establish who is meeting you and their authority. Tell a trusted person your plans and use a sensible travel route. Treat urgent advance-payment pressure as a warning sign.

During the visit

Inspect the actual room, washroom, common areas, entry/security arrangements, locks, ventilation and escape access. Check amenities, utilities, food availability/hygiene, sharing arrangements and house/visitor rules yourself. Ask about maintenance, power/water interruptions and complaint handling. A platform check or photo is not safety certification.

Before paying or sharing documents

Obtain written terms identifying the provider, room, rent, charges, deposit, notice period, cancellation/refund deductions and timeline. Verify the recipient independently. Never share OTPs/passwords; provide only necessary documents through an appropriate secure channel. Keep payment proof, agreements, invoices and receipts. Do not rely on a screenshot or a badge as proof of ownership or a guaranteed refund.

If something is wrong

Stop before paying, leave an unsafe situation and preserve evidence. Report the listing, contact support and approach your bank/payment provider or competent authorities as appropriate. For emergencies contact emergency authorities immediately. StayJi can review platform activity but is not an emergency-response, insurance or money-recovery service.
