Does StayJi collect rent or hold deposits?

The current discovery and lead workflow does not provide rent escrow or deposit custody. Direct property payments are between the parties. Never assume an owner payment is protected by StayJi.

Are StayJi fees refundable?

Read the actual disclosed service, configured pricing and applicable refund terms before accepting. No blanket refund guarantee or exclusion overrides statutory rights. Contact support about an erroneous platform charge.

Is StayJi responsible for an owner refund?

The owner is responsible for direct payment and deposit obligations. Keep written terms and receipts. StayJi can review platform concerns but cannot guarantee recovery; statutory remedies remain available.

What if the property becomes unavailable?

Confirm availability before paying. If already paid, contact the recipient using your written cancellation/refund terms and retain evidence. Report misleading listing information.

What should I do about a suspicious payment request?

Do not pay or share OTPs or passwords. Independently check the property and recipient. Preserve evidence and report promptly through the property report action or support.
